Big News! Noticias Importantes!

Emma se ve igual, pero esta cambiando mucho!

La gran noticia es......que.......Emma ya tiene un diente!!!!!!!!! Y no solo eso, hay DOS noticias importantes, y las descubrimos el mismo dia...sabado el 31 de junio. La otra es.................................Emma habla! Su primer palabra fue "da-da" que, en ingles, significa "pa-pa". Pero, decimos "papi" para Emmanuel, y no digo mucho dada. Por eso es nuestro teoria que nada mas es un sonido para ella. Por ejemplo, no busca a su papa o su mama Emma diciendo "pa-pa". Nada mas lo dice mucho. Todo el dia ayer estuvo diciendo "da da da da da da da daaaaa da da da" asi muy fuerte y con mucho animo. Creo que esta muy emocionada que puede hablar un poquito. Emmanuel estaba cargandola cuando la oimos por primera vez. Estamos muy orgullosos de ella. Es preciosa cuando habla.

Ademas, no le importa si esta boca arriba o boca abajo porque puede darse una vuelta cuando quiera. Se queda en el piso por una hora o mas jugando. Su mama ya puede lavar los platos! Por fin!

Emma may look the same, but boy is she changing! She rolls and rolls on the floor now, and she pushes up on her feet and pushes back (while she's on her back) so that she slides backward. She does this a lot in her crib. I'll put her to bed in the middle, and in the morning she'll be all the way at the top.

But...that's not the big news. The big news are....
1) Emma said "da-da" on Sat. June 31.
and!!
2) She sprouted a tooth the same day!!!

What's even better is that Emmanuel and I were there together to see both happen. Saturday was a great day! She does not associate "da-da" with Emmanuel or anyone else right now, but eventually she may. We actually call Emmanuel "papi", so I think that "da" is just an easy thing for babies to say. But either way it's the cutest thing ever! She said it once and now she says it all of the time!
